Trex Balcony

There’s something about a balcony. Maybe it’s because of Shakespeare, but somehow balconies are associated with luxury and a bit of grandeur. They belong to sipping coffee in the mornings, or stargazing at night.

But they’re not indestructible, especially not if they’re made of wood and you live in the south. All wood rots eventually around here, and considering that a balcony is rather far off the ground, this is one floor that you don’t want giving away under you.

So what do you do when your balcony starts looking like this? Replace the wood…and then replace it again a few years later…and again a few years after that?

Once that may have been your only option, but this homeowner had a better choice: Trex® composite decking. We removed the rotting wood from the metal frame for them:

…and then we replaced it with Trex® composite decking in the Havana Gold color. It still has that beautiful wood look but with over twice the lifespan of a wooden balcony, they can enjoy it in peace, knowing it will never rot beneath their feet:

We’ve featured Trex® decking on our website several times recently. Are you getting a little curious what it’s all about? Do you have a porch that you would like to see transformed and virtually maintenance-free for years to come? Give us a call at (870) 845-1121 and find out what it would take to turn your porch from splintery, weather-worn wood to elegant, durable composite decking!
