Shop Repairs

Sometimes your building doesn’t have any big problem. It’s a good place, it serves you well. It’s just that one spot where the roof leaks a little bit and yeah, those boards are getting a bit rotten, and sometime when you get a minute you’re definitely going to get some new lights in here, but not today. You don’t have time this week. Or this month. Maybe not even this year. Sure, it needs to be done, but other things are more urgent and you keep putting it off, and the little jobs keep stacking up and stacking up until suddenly one day you realize that the integrity of your building has been compromised and the little jobs have turned into a big, expensive mess.

Or maybe you’re wise enough to not wait that long. Maybe you’ve got enough sense to see that you’re too busy to get those things done but your building is worth taking care of, now, before it’s falling down around your ears. So you invest in having someone else come by and knock out all those tasks at once.

This gentleman valued his shop enough to have us come by and get it back to working strong, starting with removing several rotten roof purlins and installing some new ones in their place:

We replaced the broken jamb on his office door:

In one spot, the metal wall was pushed out close to the ground, so we pushed it back in and anchored it:

We re-screwed the metal roof on the shop’s lean-to, and caulked all fasteners:

We also caulked around the skylights and ridge vents on the metal roof:

One side of the roof was missing its rake trim, so we fixed that:

And inside, we installed new LED lights so he can see clearly what he’s doing while he works:

Maybe your house and shop and every other building you own is in perfect condition. Maybe you have all the time in the world to keep them that way. Maybe you don’t have a list of small jobs that you’re wishing someone else would do because you don’t know when you’ll find the time.

But if those things aren’t true for you, give us a call at (870) 845-1121 and let us make your life a little less stressful.
